NFL FLAG In-School High School Curriculum
To support high quality physical education and grow opportunities for students to be active before, during and after school, GENYOUth, with the support of the NFL Foundation, developed NFL FLAG In-School, a turnkey approach to help America’s P.E. teachers build a foundation of healthy, lifelong physical activity for their students.
The 2024 edition of the NFL FLAG In-School High School Curriculum is aligned to SHAPE America’s 2024 National Physical Education Standards (NPES), statements and grade span learning indicators and includes eight (8) lessons. The curriculum resource includes new Learning Objectives with NPES; new Essential Questions, Checks for Understanding and Discussion to help enhance student learning; a focus on multiple learning domains throughout each lessons, including Psychomotor, Cognitive, Social and Affective; a new inclusive Physical Education Adaptations section to assist teachers with instruction for all students with various abilities; new activities; new diagrams and visual supports; new NPES Critical Elements in the appendix; and Teacher Printables for Psychomotor Skill checklists, Formative Exit Ticket slips, Summative Quiz, and Playbook creation printables.
