Complete a JUMP ROPE or HOOPS for HEART event and earn credits

Did you know that multiple states offer professional development credit for registering and completing a JRFH or HFH campaign? Not only are these programs a great way to promote physical education and provide children with knowledge of heart disease and stroke while raising funds for cardiovascular disease research, stroke research, and health education, but they also provide the organizer with valuable resources and continuing education credits. While professional development requirements vary greatly from state to state, and sometimes district to district, several states have partnered with their state AHPERD to get blanket approval for certain events as long as specific criteria is met and submitted. To the right are a few state organizations that have already have approved continuing education credit for JRFH and HFH events.
