Individual Donations

Your gift will help SHAPE America ensure that all children have access to quality health and physical education. Donations provide unrestricted support that facilitate a wide range of programs and initiatives such as professional development for health and physical education teachers, valuable teacher resources and tools, advocacy efforts to keep school health and physical education programs funded, and much more.

Gifts may be made in honor of or in memory of a colleague, mentor, teacher, family member, or friend. It is a meaningful way to recognize service, leadership, retirement, and volunteer service. Make gifts in honor of staff and colleagues in lieu of a holiday gift, or celebrate special people during Health Literacy Month, American Heart Month, or National PE & Sport Week.

Give the Gift of Stock
SHAPE America gratefully accepts gifts in the form of publicly traded stock. Publicly traded stock that has increased in value and you owned for more than one year, may provide greater tax benefits than giving cash. Your charitable income tax deduction is equal to the fair market value of the stock and you avoid paying the capital gains tax on any increase in the current value over the original cost of the stock.
