Student

Student members receive a digital subscription to one professional journal with membership in SHAPE America. To be eligible for this category individuals must be registered full-time in an academic program as an undergraduate or graduate student in a regular course of study in health education, kinesiology or related HPE fields. The total cumulative period for a member to hold this status is limited to six years. Proof of student status is required annually.

Institutional

Open to K-12 schools, colleges/universities and health and physical education-related companies. Up to 4 individuals can be included on one institutional membership and the designated hard-copy publication will be sent to the main contact on the membership. Not eligible for voting or convention discounts. Please fill out and submit the institutional membership form via email, fax or mail – call member services at 800-213-7193 with any questions.

All SHAPE America members belong to one of five districts. Getting involved at the district level can help you meet other health and physical educators in your region while developing leadership skills and serving the profession.

Even before you enter your first classroom, you need SHAPE America on your side! Members select one or more of the idea-packed, peer-reviewed journals designed for all specialties. Content-rich archives of past journal issues are available free to members.
