Developing Key Assessments in PETE Programs

This two-part workshop style webinar will focus on helping attendees to develop assessments that align with the 2017 National Standards for Initial Physical Education Teacher Education. Presenters will go over how to ensure assessment descriptions, scoring guides, and minimal levels of proficiency align with the intent of the indicated standard/component. You don’t want to miss this small group, intimate experience to go over your assessments with SHAPE America SPA auditors!

• Attendees will work in small groups to look at assessments.
• Attendees will need to be prepared to bring one current assessment to the webinar.
• Participants will receive meeting information the morning of the live meetings.
